I got this shirt for working out, and I think it will fit the bill. It's nice heavy cotton that will stand up to use. It is definitely oversized. I am a US 10 (women's) and I often take a large in t-shirts. Based on the recommendation of the manufacturer I ordered a medium, but I could have taken a small. The armholes are a bit large on me and the shirt is long. It's fine, though, I'll be wearing it with workout bras and I can cut the ends up a little bit. Overall, I can recommend this shirt.
